Seriously...

So this post is mostly to rant my irritation, shake my fist you might say, at those who appear to be clueless about such things. I had a message on my answering machine from a sister in our ward who wants me to substitute for Lincoln's Primary class on Sunday. Here is the funny catch, Not only is Sunday my due date, but if that were not enough reason NOT to want to chase a bunch of 5 year olds around the church, there is that other thing... I am the Relief Society President; Generally I think that means you are unavailable to substitute for Primary. Intriguing thing is, this is not the only thing that has happened.. I Personally think that when a woman crosses that 37 week mark of pregnancy, you leave her ALONE. Obviously here in Missouri the thinking comes as slow as the driving. Last Sunday we had to give the opening and closing prayers in Sacrament meeting, not generally a big deal unless you are about to pop! By the time I got to the podium I was totally out of breath. And the day before on Saturday we were informed we had a cleaning assignment at the church building. My own toilets have been semi-neglected for 2 months now, like I am going to go clean the church's. SHAKING FIST!

Hi Merilee! Sorry, I was trying to write a comment earlier and my computer had a "moment!" I'm so glad to see you have joined the blogging world. Isn't so nice to rant! I'm also very excited to see your kids. I can't wait to see your new little addition. Three is kinda throwin' me for a loop, but I wouldn't trade it!

Oh sheesh! They definately should leave you alone after 37 weeks!! Plus, shouldn't you get some sort of "maternity leave" from your calling too after the baby is born?? At least a couple of weeks I would think! BTW, Congrats on the new little one!! I can't wait to see pictures!

I guess this person either has no tact or figures you really have it together (which is true) and so why not add one more thing to your list! I will be looking for pics of the new baby!
