St. Patrick's Day

Yesterday was a bit of a blurr for me. Carpool and preschool, plus the doctor took most of the day. For dinner I wanted to do something fun for the kids since it was St. Patrick's Day. I remember my mom making us special breakfasts on such holidays. Since my kids don't really like Corned beef and cabbage, I didn't make it; It's a bit salty for my liking as well. Instead of that I made the kids Green eggs, Green juice, and Green Chocolate chip pancakes. They loved it and ate it while deciding the best way to catch a Leprechaun. Oh and in case you noticed, Alex didn't wear green. The poor kid was pinched by every elderly person we passed all day. They thought it was so funny. Good thing he's tough!

Cute idea! I bet the kids loved the green dinner. I never think of doing cute things like that.

That is so fun. I have never tried corned beef. I am thinking I probably never will. It doesn't seem like it is very good.

Gosh these kids are cute. I, too, can remember green pancakes. Moms are the best! Your kids are so lucky Mer. Miss you all.

I did absolutely nothing for the kids for St. Patrick's Day. Now, you are making me feel guilty!! We went to the mall, and went and played in the Kid Zone, and I wondered why all the kids were wearing green, and the mom next to me said something, and it dawned on me. What a good mom you are!
