Odds and Ends

Okay well let me start off by saying, sorry for not posting in awhile. It has been pretty busy here since the first of November, So this post will be a bit of an update on our crazy lives at the moment. Hans has been traveling a bit for job interviews, and will be leaving again next weekend for another. So please please pray that the Universities we apply to will not have hiring freezes as some universities are. Also this month we celebrated our 7th Anniversary with dinner and the chef had just finished cooking our bananas foster table side when our babysitter called to alert us that Alex had fallen down a whole flight of stairs. Luckily the kid didn't have a scratch on him. We spent a couple nights having him sleep with us, and waking him every so many hours to make sure he was okay. And after some obvious soreness, he is back to his mischievous little self.
I have recently taught an enrichment class for church on Handmade gifts, and although it was fun to make all the cute things I did, it was more time consuming than I anticipated. I won't give away what I made, as some items will be given to family members. Lincoln is still loving school and doing well; Holly just got accepted off the waiting list to a small preschool here in town that meets twice a week for a few hours in the morning. She is already fitting in well. I have Thanksgiving cards going out asap (like tomorrow hopefully) that include a current picture of our family. If you have moved in the last year...or two or three, please comment with your address so that I can send one out to you.
I will try to be more diligent with the blogging. To leave you with something so cute, I am posting this video of Lincoln practicing the talk he gave in our ward's primary program. He did a marvelous job. We hope you enjoy. Oh yeah and sorry about Halloween pictures.... we totally forgot our camera, and well we didn't get anymore. But we had a great night (sorry Mindy)!

It brought tears to my eyes listening to Lincoln. It is amazing how children can do that. ;) Even the testimony of a children can teach us so much! Thank you, Lincoln. I will email you our address in case you don't have the new one.

You have nothing to be sorry for Merilee. I'm the sorry one that hasn't posted in over two months, but am still enjoying everyone else's posts! Your kids are sooo cute and you're doing a fantastic job raising them.

I had to watch this again this morning. I don't know how many times I've watched this, its just too great! How many little kids say "When I was not feeling so well" instead of "When I was sick"--only Lincoln Meyer I think. What a smarty pants!!!! I love you sooooo much Lincoln!!!!
