If the shoe fits...

I realize that it has been awhile since I have blogged. It seems it has been drama city here in Missouri. I feel like I have been running kids around non stop as of late, and when I do get an extra minute, I am sewing Halloween costumes (pictures to come soon). Well they are coming along nicely, I am still a little worried about getting them done on time , but I know myself. I'll get them done if it means I have to stay up all night.
This morning I was out at the salvation army looking for shoes I could paint, and a wig I could use, just for these wonderful costumes. Well I didn't find either, however I did look up and see a beautiful pair of Black knee boots. let me just insert here how bad I have been wanting a pair and have not been able to find the right size, fit, heal height, toe shape, and what not. So I walk over and pick them up.... just my size, They look brand new, and so I grab them thinking they might be pricey because this particular salvation army tends to be very pricey..odd I know. But low and behold it is sale day, and I get the boots for 6 George Washingtons! I took them home and they fit like a dream. Most of you know I am a bit of bargain shopper, and these made my day!
