Lincoln in Hiding

The night we brought Alex home a funny little thing happened. After putting Lincoln and Holly to bed, we heard a Lincoln yelling from his room, "Can I give Alex one more hug and kiss?". Of Course we yelled back no, and told him to go to bed. You may think us mean, but poor Alex had already been completely mauled by the two at family prayer. We went on with our night, and my mom commented that when she changed into pajamas Lincoln wasn't in his bed. So I asked her to look around for him. She did, and couldn't find him. I assumed he had snuck downstairs to play with dad on the computer. Hans came up a couple minutes later without Lincoln, and so I thought it was so weird. We started to look for him, and could not find him anywhere. we looked up and downstairs in the garage, all the kitchen cabinets, and were yelling his name. Holly, mind you, was in bed already asleep. I was starting to panic, then Hans sees him, and I see him, and there he is, hiding under Alex's cradle as quiet as can be. We were so mad! Here we are yelling for him, and he is just hiding away ignoring us. So we drag him out and start lecturing him, and when we ask what he has to say he starts to cry and responds. "I was just waiting for you to put Alex to bed so I could give him another hug..." Needless to say we felt a little bad, let him hug Alex AGAIN, and put him back to bed.....
